To A Beautiful Collapse!

Are we not to look up towards the great Roman Empire? No, not for it’s prowess as a imperial war machine of course, that is an illusion! I say we look upon Rome for what it truly is:! A foolish god of history – our enemy! A blubbering stinking oaf, bled to death by criminality and barbaric Dionysian lust. Long live the fall of Rome! May it’s mark on  history be a guide for us in our own battle against domestication – and society.

It is often a stereotype among right wing reactionaries (particularly those young, white privileged men) to find the foundations for their fascinations in authoritarian constructs (and possible eventual decline to fascism) while studying the Ancient Roman Empire. And this seems reasonable to anyone with a basic grasp of the roman empire and right wing conditioning. Studying imperial Rome as someone who directly benefits off the advancements of the current United States empire can lead someone to  praise Rome as a bastion of “Western Civilization”

I propose the subversive minded of us. We barbarians, criminals, faggots, whores and terrorists – to claim our own symbol of Rome. The great fall of empire! Our historic victory. The characteristics that define Rome in it’s dying days can help us grasp our position as captives to a crumbling civilization.

In the last century of Rome, the governing body held little grasp over the gains it had made. Riots in the streets were commonplace, soldiers were deployed regularly to attack and brutalize the people of Rome when they got too unruly. Decadence, hedonism and bastardizations of the great imperial culture became rampant. Invading “barbarians” established rule in the areas they occupied. Until Rome fell.

Yet, Rome “falling” was not a single event. And until (what is estimated to be) year 530 of the “common era”, Rome was a concept that corrupted the minds of those under its territories. Despite academic historians agreeing on a final date of the Roman Empire, I argue it’s real death occurred in the heart of each Roman in the dying years of what they once considered the permanent state of reality. Those of us subversive individuals who find themselves in the core imperialist powers of Europe and North America must draw our attention to how it truly feels to be inside the belly of reality collapsing.

We are trapped in the belly of this horrible machine, and the machine is bleeding to death.

The last Romans were not the slaves and plebeians finding themselves one day under new governing. The last Romans were the politicians, military commanders and upper class elite of Rome that watched every power they once held slip out through their hands. Rome died in the hearts of those who it chose to exploit from the day Remus fell to his brother’s knife.

The internal call for criminal intent burns within us. Each day we submit ourselves to the ringing bell of domination, our anger grows like wildfire.

Those who find themselves forgotten and erased within the blur of community, those who no longer dream. Embrace Criminality! Plot, scheme, steal, cheat, burn and cause mayhem.

Furthermore, in our criminal pursuit of the rapid collapse of society: We must become leviathan, and eclipse god!
